Instructions for use: Just soak in a sink of cold water. As it soaks, the "jelly-like" consistency will expand to the size of the tube. Some fabrics have a durable water repellant finish (DWR) that sometimes slows the activation time.(Note: If it is taking longer than 30 minutes and you want to speed up the process on the first time soaking, add a capful of fabric softener to the water and gently rub the fabric to strip more of the (DWR) from the fabric). Squeeze gently the excess water and tie around your neck. As the fabric dries while wearing it, just run cold water over it to refresh the coolness of the scarf. After several days or more, the jelly will dry out and become crystallized again. To reactivate, just re-soak in cold water. Reuse over and over. To make your "CoolitScarf" even colder, place in fridge for thirty minutes. Store scarf in frig in a unzipped plastic bag to keep activated. To wash, put a small amount of soap on scarf and hand wash gently, rinse and hang to dry.
